Please reach to jeremy@lsnr.org if you cannot find an answer to your question.
This list will grow with each question asked. Your voice is important to us.
Mental Health is a combination of your emotional, psychological, physical, and spiritual wellbeing. Basically, it's about thoughts, feelings, and behaviors that impact your ability to go to work or school, have happy, healthy relationships, and how well you are able to live the life you want.
Asking for help or sharing your worries is the hard. Best advice.... talk about it. Share your concerns with trusted family, friends, teachers, mentors, doctors, and anyone else you think will support you.
Listener is one of many organizations full of people dedicated to you and your wellbeing. I know it's not easy talking about mental health with others, even those you love and trust, but those people care for you. WE care for you.
Use our message feature (the green circle on the bottom right of the screen) and/or our text line on the top of the home page to reach out to Listener.

Listener Mental Health was formed by Jeremy Everett, a licensed independent social worker (LISW) with 10+ years experience working with immigrant and refugee populations in Waterloo, Iowa and Denver, Colorado. I have my bachelor's degree in political science and my master's degree in social work - both from the University of Northern Iowa.
Listener is a growing organization, and we look forward to collaborating with others to improve the mental health of marginalized communities in the Cedar Valley and around the world!
